Nah, from a strategic point of view, the Council will not destroy or disarm battleships. The pretext in the style of a "museum for war" does not roll.

What is the superiority of Council technologies based on obsolete Gallic ships? Here just the same Royalist ships are better in technical terms.

From strategic point of view they would want to get the economy rolling, trade with other houses, now those opportunities are much wider. There's no major war ongoing for Council/new government anymore and they have fairly sufficient number of capital ships of their own design.

And I was talking about Council's point of view, not technical side of superiority and whatnot.
