Im farely new to Discovery but have a fair share of gaming time on Freelancer and various disco-variants.
There are 2 things I agree with
1st: Guard NPC's with stronger weapons/CD's. Its just needed to stop those Trains running everywhere.
2nd: Capital ships in Guard systems. Only extra thing, but i dont think that was possible, is to make the ships purchaseable from friendly-guard and up.
I absolutely dont agree that bombers should be nerfed, I remember playing on a disco 4.83 server, where NOBODY would stay alive if I had a Taiidan with a Nova and a Mini... these days, you get shot up on every side. Sure there are still those who can whoop anybody, but that is called SKILL. What people are trying to do here, is to nerf ships for the general public, since there are a group of players that simple RULE the said ship.
Its not their fault for your lack of self-control to train more, I bet most of those fighter/bomber aces, spend more then 1000hours training...
Battleships and Battlecruisers need an UPGRADE not a 150.000th nerf..! Are you all mad..! Somewhere in the back of my hard-drives i have a version of disco with a BS that has at least 1 million armour... Well thats HOW HEAVILY armoured a Battleship has to be... Its not like fighters were ment to take it down...
As Tenacity might remember, 5 Vipers completely SHATTER a Battleship, with or without regens, it simply will fall because it cannot hit the ships. While the inability to hit lighter craft makes sense, it doesnt make sense that said lighter crafts can take down a ship 100x their size.
Its one big balancing game... and like it or not.. I think that Igiss is doing a hell of a job!!!
