Miss Morales,

I'll begin here chronologically.
The primary issue here is that the Guild, whether under Ms. Kyoko's leadership or not, acted against the interests and integrity of the Republic. We fully acknowledge that Crayter would not be where it is without the Guild, which is among the sole reasons we've taken this long to pass clear judgement. With how things have turned, and the conflicts that have come to pass following the Aland crisis, I don't expect relations between the IMG and the Republic to ever return to what they once were. Scars of this calibre run fairly deep, and I won't lie in saying that it hurts everyone in the Republic that we felt we had to resort to this low of a stance against our friends.

I've maintained that these occupations are temporary, and I mean it. The Military, CIS and CGF are authorized to do what they must to hold them, but past that I expect they will have the same level of respect for the IMG that I do, even if it means they resent me for authorizing the occupations. Once this senseless bickering and further ruining of friendships is finished, and the IMG have regained some semblance of mutual respect for those they angered during the past few months of this war, I will authorize their return and dedicate what resources I can offer to the restoration of their faculties before I gave the order.

I wish you the best with Liberty, Ms. Morales. They are less understanding than we are to a fault, and will take hard negotiation, but I expect they'll return the gesture if the Guild tosses in a little compensation for whatever profits USI lost in Omega-3. I expect during the Natio Octavarium conference I will be in Cambridge, where I'll do what I can to help the IMG from there, and hopefully talk some sense into Crayter's allies there as well. Perhaps I can convince the Natio to accept my secretary to speak on Crayter's behalf, though I expect it may be Ms. Young who will represent the Republic there.

Regarding your statement, and as I've noted to Ms. Morales above, we have no intention of holding these stations. The war has died down considerably since the Council's victory in Ile-de-France, and because of that I no longer have to focus on beating back the Royalists or anticipating some GRN comeback from Leeds.
As is such, what I stated before will remain true as long as it is possible. Pecos, Holman and Singapore will remain open to IMG forces so long as they cooperate with Crayter in maintaining the peace. In regards to Tau-31, where I expect most Bretonian/IMG action will take place within Crayter space, I will let it be known that we expect neutrality to be upheld by both sides. I'll send a separate notice to Bretonia regarding this, as well as any Bretonian units who just so happen to be operating within Coronado or Tau-44, so that way both sides of your fight are alerted. I have no intention of interfering with your fight with Bretonia, at least in regards to military movements. These conferences will determine what Crayter can do to act as a mediator, but apart from that expect us to use this time to rebuild and reorganize, as you should be doing as well.

I hope one day we can return to even a fraction of where we were in the past. I have a great respect for the IMG, despite what my authority has ordered, and I want to see that friendship return.
