Biography:

Born a woman raised a man, the unwanted female child to a rather regressive little family on Kyoto was brought to life. Discontent with the gender of the child, her parents raised her as a boy and later as a man. Often assigning her dirty hard labor or work that would in most cases require masculine traits or build to complete. This treatment meant that she’d often get beaten when she didn’t perform as required of her. Due to her personality as a child, she had trouble indulging into girl groups, instead she found herself in male-dominated circles. Her femininity was almost lost.

Blood Dragons

The young woman soon became a fully-fledged fighter pilot in the fighting force once she became of age. Spending more time away from the rather hostile environment with her family on Kyoto certainly helped develop her personality further. Initially, the Dragon recruit ran escort with Dragon smuggling and supply convoys through Kusari, steering away from the more dangerous operations and areas of the Dragons like Tohoku. Yet, being the curious person she is, she needed to know more about it.

It took quite a bit for her to reach a rank where she was permitted to entrance into Tohoku and gain access to now-unrestricted information. She was stunned by the results, but also made very much more curious and interested. She was dispatched to Ryuku where she participated in both offensive and defensive operations in the infected-infested system. Often finding foreign ships assisting Dragon forces in their operations. Later it appeared to her that those ships belonged to the Order. An Organization she had only heard off through news articles and through looking up their leader Casper Orillion - whom she held at a high regard.

The Order often did some scouting for Dragon pilots and soldiers of potential and offered them a place within their ranks; and Aoi was lucky enough to be one of those. She had the dedication, discipline and hatred for the Order’s archenemy, the Nomads.

It was time to pack up and leave on another endeavor with a new cause.

The Order

An Order shuttle picked up the new recruits and departed from Ryuku to the Omicrons, passing through the Order’s home system Mu. The shuttle landed on Akabat where Kunieda and the handful of other recruits were brought into a planet-side training center where they were held up for a few months. The initial training period was prison-like, prohibited outside communication, intense daily training on both psychological and physical aspects. The Dragon recruit barely managed to get through it without dying or dropping out.

In the end, she managed to leave the facility both alive and as fully-fledged Order operator with what remained of the recruits. The Omicrons sector was a wild place that she had never expected to visit, she never thought she would see her ambitions come true. Operative Kunieda was assigned her Nepthys soon enough and was dispatched to Battleship Atum operations which had been at the time located in Alaska.

Existing within a multicultural and multinational society like the Order’s certainly improved Kunieda’s personality and regained some of her lost femininity. Finding both new friends and allies as well as enemies and rivals. She took her decision to apply to the Order primary fleet short of 2 years after her recruitment and was accepted. Assigned back to the Omicrons by Overwatch directives, she continued to indulge into anti-Nomad operations as well as anti-Core, a rival organization to the Order who has also been partially to blame for the Toledo disaster.

Overwatch

Aoi rose through the ranks of the Primary fleet like a hot knife through butter, gaining both the respect and trust of those above her and below her. After a service of dedication and performance she earned her seat within the Overwatch right under Michal Gonaski’s command. She had various responsibilities to fit in as a colonel of the Overwatch, spearheading and organizing covert and overt operations, mostly remaining within the Omicrons sector.

It was evident that the more she spent with the Order and the more she advanced, the more disappointed she got. The Order became nothing like what she had originally seen and imagined; funding civil wars, terrorist organizations under the mantle of nomad war efforts and indulging into conflicts that do the Order no good. Something had to change and she saw no end to it within the Overwatch.

Providence

She departed from the Overwatch and fell in contact with other discontent operatives and worked on seeing a solution to the current situation of the organization. The most suitable answer to the standing problem was to form a cell or force that would act purely within the Order’s interest of safeguarding humanity, a force that was more aligned with pre 800 A.S Order.

With power comes corruption, she knew that well enough to not repeat the mistakes of current-time Order. Task Force Providence was formed under her leadership, taking Battleship Atum in Inverness as their primary F.O.B. Refraining from extending in manpower and firepower unless necessary. The cell gained the support of various Order elements and non-Order elements that otherwise assumed an aggressive stance towards the Order.

Providence now remains until the time it’s re-activation is called upon.
