To: Hamburg Cell From: Arbeiter Van Hamburg Subject: Lane Hacker After-Action report.
Guten Tag. This is Operative Van Hamburg, reporting after an incident with a Lane Hacker “inspection party”. I am submitting this transmission to document the early action of the incident that only I am privy to, as well as my own perspective during and after the incident. It started with contact from the Sirene, which I believe I am not technically privy to under Union regulations. The Sirene requested my assistance and instructed me to meet with the Party in Bering. Much to my surprise, the Hackers were already proverbially knocking on the doors of Pacifica. While I lead them through to Hamburg, radio silence was kept on all channels with little aberration. They seemed eager to get the meeting underway, leaving several of their own behind in the hurry. Shortly after we arrived at Vierlande, Oberarbeiter Niska, Arbeiter Euler, and the Sirene arrived. I would like to add that during the interim, the Hackers expressed their disdain for Vierlande, proclaiming it too “public”. Draw from this what you will, but I believe it to mean that they wished to take the ship on the spot, without any resistance. I will leave it to those higher than me to discuss the specifics of the Hackers’ findings but suffice it to say that hostilities were shortly in order. Luckily, our kith and kin from the Pacifica fleet arrived, and the Hackers ran in short order, leaving uncertainty behind. In this Arbeiter’s opinion (whatever it may be worth), the Sirene should not go without escort in the future.
For our Brothers and Sisters in the Gulags!
