Viktoria brought the folders to the desk in front of her and started browsing the first. She examined it closely but with haste so that she'd ask any questions before the others arrived.
However with her full attention to the documents, Geoff's question caught her completely off-guard; she raised her head to answer but no voice came out for a few moments.
"I... I... haven't Direktor. Plus my doctor wouldn't let me." she said referring to the physical tests requiring all Marinenachrichtendienst members to remain in peak condition.
Of course senior officers are never really checked but Viktoria always followed formalities. On the other hand she could notice that Geoff's belly had grown since she first saw him, a natural occurence from lengthy office work.
"Have you fully recovered from the stab wounds?" she asked back without raising her head, her eyes and attention being on the document again.
