Enfield looked at Engel who was just getting settled into his seat. "No need to be so formal Engel, I'm not pulling stripes off for not saluting me." He got up to shake his hand and directed him to the seat that was just near him. So now sat the Direktor at the head of the table, two at the front sides being Engel on the left and Landers on the right. As the same with Landers, he slipped over a folder with its same drab-grey colour along with a magnitude of papers inside of its binder. "These are for your eyes only..." Saying with an emphasis on 'yours' as his hand gestured towards his chest. After passing Engel the files, he sat back down in silence again... And it took him a moment before he could say anything else. "How's the new position? I know there are less parades and dinner parties and we live like un-social mutes but--" He was honestly trying his best at light heated humour towards the Flotillen Admiral, but unfortunately there wasn't a pair of beers between them, "If you want there is some coffee at the table ov--"
Before he could finish another word that secure door opened again to see that platinum blonde walk in her quite plainly dressed uniform that she nicely switched to. "Laurenz you're here." He put on his usual smile, a somewhat struggling one that failed to seem at least natural or confident. Again with the same as the other two, he slid over another folder to Laurenz with her name on it along with its usual classified stamp. "Alright, coffee is over there since we've got some time to get started... We're just waiting on one more before we lock the SCIF." He seemed a little tense as he checked his watch as if he was waiting for that last chair that remained empty at the back right-side of the table. Anything he could do to at least keep himself occupied without seeming awkward, sipping coffee, scratching his stubble and twiddling his thumbs in thought.
At least ten minutes would pass before the door handles would sharply twist down, and as soon as it did, Enfields eyes would widen and his jaw would hang slightly agape. The figure would come through the door was a slender, flight-suit worn lady whom still donned her helmet. "Took you damn long enough." Whoever she was, she was quick to give him the middle finger and lock the doors behind her and engage the SCIF system. Enfield just seemed used to it, shaking his head along with giving a chuckle in response to her own one-fingered salute. "How's the server farm?""A fucking mess, but I'm getting there... You'll need to notify the lab--" He snapped his fingers and pointed towards Laurenz... "Oh." A small but appreciated response came from her as she gazed at Laurenz, her eyes seemed to glow a bright blue through her tinted visor... But they never seemed to squint. When her attention drew close to Laurenz, she quickly went over to the Direktor and handed him a small data-drive. "Ta' very much." He slipped her a wink before she quickly took her place at the remaining seat.
"Before we begin, anything to say?" He looked at everyone in their seats as he rubbed a finger under his chin and peered at the eyes that heeded to his whisper for attention.
