Name: Grant Robinson Gender: Male Age: 35 Birthplace:Planet Denver, Colorado Previous Occupation(s): Pilot, Officer, Capital ship engineer, Capital ship Second in Command.
Biography: Grant Robinson was as patriotic as the rest of his family, born on Denver, it seemed Grant was born to fill one role within Liberty, to protect it. While his father had served, his two other brothers were enrolled with the Liberty Navy when they came of age, with Grant being the youngest, he felt there was no other choice in pleasing his father other than following in his family’s footsteps.
Grant served in the Navy long enough to become part of an engineering division onboard a capital ship – The LNS-Nebulus. This was no ordinary capital ship though this ship had a special assignment, it was to protect Liberty from the threat of the Omicrons beyond Alaska, serving as a checkpoint for any Liberty Research vessels, and fighter scouts.
Though when Liberty joined Bretonia in the battle, the LNs-Nebulus was recalled to Juneau Shipyard, only to be greeted with several heavily armed escorts. Amongst the engineering division, Grant had the privilege of being amongst the bridge when the Nebulus arrived back in Alaska, though what he saw was not a welcoming sight.
The Navy demanded The Nebulus to surrender the vessel, pending criminal charges against Liberty. With no choice, and against Grants and some others advice, the captain allowed the Navy to board, armed to the brim with weapons, a confusing panic broke out amongst the crew, and worse so, they opened fire on anyone who was not complying with the Navy demands, something which Grant took personally.
Once the Nebulus was docked on the shipyard, the crew, including the captain was imprisoned, all except a few crew members who managed to hide amongst the boarding raid. Terrified, and confused together managed to come up with some theories, and reasons for the Navys behaviour, believing that they were at fault due to exposure of Nomads the ship had been in contact with due to their assignment. Though Grant never believed such a theory, all he knew, for sure, Was that Liberty itself betrayed the crew and all that had served amongst the Cruiser.
After things had calmed down, the small group of, now traitors, managed to sneak through the Alaska patrols using stolen ID’s, and call signs, and that was when the group disbanded and went their own ways.
Some went to Bretonia to continue to fight for Liberty, though secretly, and under new Identifications, others sought refuge in Kusari, and some went to the Zoner population of Freeports. Though Grant did not. He decided to stay within Liberty, secretly, of course, attempting to piece together any information about what had happened to LNS-Nebulus, but all records and all personnel had disappeared from the Neutral net. This was when the Hellfire Legion contacted him, requesting a meet, offering answers to Grants questions.
