Pre-Alpha test
Sound of the high heels knocking down the metal floor of the tight corridor leading to the hangar of the Barrier Gate. With rather, a low and relax walk, while staring at her communicator, the Outcast blondie was approaching the hangar. Her cargo is supposed to be unloading and being under check. One of her trusted people, Angel Aparicio is supposed to already be there with a couple of rather generic engineers.

Finally, she would step into a wide hangar area, the Junker transport is already left and it's only crates with munitions and military vehicles that are parked in a strict line by five. She would look around, looking for the Angel himself.

A rather tall figure clad in pitch-black armour that Enma couldn't fully see the details of stood by the first armoured vehicle. Every step that Aparicio made, a powerful and heavy clunk echoed around his side of the hangar. Unlike Loyola's relaxed movement, the armoured man's movement was rigorous and calculated. Angel gave instructions to the engineers that surrounded him, making sure that all of them knew exactly what they were doing, or they would become an unfortunate work incident.

As the engineers dispersed to inspect every other vehicle and box, Angel knelt in front of the first armoured military vehicle. Anyone within five-meter radius would hear prayer and a blessing repeated five times each in the same deep-monotone tone.

Noticing his armor Angel's armor under the neon light, after she heard a heavy clunk of him moving, Enma would approach him. With scratchy somehow lazy tone, she would start talking behind his back.

— I see that delivery has arrived in full.

Enma looked down at the crates, thinking about how they should improve shooting accuracy to reduce ammo usage.

Angel acknowledged her presence but did not interrupt his last blessing.

— Hello, Enma.

Aparicio stood up from his kneeling position and turn around to face Enma. The helmet's red eyes stared at her with no emotion what-so-ever.

— Indeed it has.

The towering, armored giant spoke as he monitored the engineers in the background.

— Junkers did well with this.

His gaze fell back onto Loyola whilst standing completely motionless, almost as if he wasn't even breathing.

Enma nods and hugs his cold armor suit. Trying to squeeze some emotions out of him. Her provocative behavior, being generally bored as of lately.

— Very well, here is enough of free space. I want you do drive a couple of circles at one of them. Then we will test the weapon systems, but not here, obviously.

Enma would point at the armored car with a heavy Gatling gun behind him. And then just go to sit at the passenger seat herself, it is quite comfortable to her honest surprise. It doesn't smell bad or anything.

Angel was a little taken back by that sudden hug from Enma as he tends to not let people touch him freely.

— Understood. Aparicio nodded as he watched her sit in the passenger seat. He slowly paced to the car, and as he got in, due to the weight of him in his armor, the car sprung down and then back to its original height.

— It is not as cramped as I thought it would be, even with the armor.

Angel put flipped the start switch shortly before the entire vehicle roared loudly.

The car slowly accelerated forward and turned right before going completely straight to test how fast the acceleration actually was. Rapidly picking up the speed, it impressed Angel quite a lot as the vehicle is rather heavy.

— Acceleration is decent.

The soldier threw the car left and right to examine the agility and steering of it. Whilst it was agile enough, a beam-like weapon could easily track it and eliminate it.

— Good enough.

Angel whispered to himself as he was lapping the hangar.

— What do you think of this vehicle, lady Enma?

Enma is liking this little ride, though still thinking how could they test the weapon system on the closed station. She has noticed a Freelancer Serenity in the hangar. That would work, now, where to? Two closest planets are Curacao and Yuma, and for what it's worth, Yuma is much easier to deploy to.

— Yeah, it's great, the seat is good and it doesn't smell. Now I will find a captain of that Serenity, gather two more people. We will land on Yuma and see how those decent are those weapon systems.

Opening a heavy armored door, with much effort, she went to the office to contact the captain. Angel had time to gather people and load things. The ship, loaded with a small Outcast team would head out from the Barrier Gate in just about 40 minutes. Reaching Yuma without many issues. Enma isn't sure how well this captain will handle landing since this is basically an emergency one, there's no spaceport on Yuma that would suit them.

The Serenity had troubles maintaining a straight flight path as the pilot was quite nervous, nothing out of the ordinary when a group of Outcasts in armour were just a few metres away from you.

— We should land any given moment right now.

Angel stood next to the doors that separated them and the ground, for now.

It was nothing but complete wilderness, small mountains and an insignificant village near their location. It would after all, be the perfect place for a group of Outcasts to test their new ground armament and to get rid of random Crayter civilians.

After a few minutes a warning to hold onto something played loudly throughout the ship as the cargo hold inner lights turned flashing crimson red.

— Ready?

Enma is not the one to be scared with harsh landing, but this one was somewhat stressful. Being trapped at one planet with a lot of CR is not ideal, to say the least.

— Sure.

Enma would open a can of energy drink, as cargo bay was opening. An armored car would drive into the wilderness, having no problems in crossing anything. Two more troopers with self-prepared grenade launchers were on the backseats.

Finally, they could reach a small Cryter outpost, looking more like a civilian residence, but even those are rarely without a guard. Enma drank half of the can now. Angel would position a car in a hidden position between trees and bushes, it is barely visible. Distance towards the outpost is now in reach of their firearms. They can fire out all ammo into this and then drive back and leave.

— Alright boys, load armor-piercing. I want you to bring down the walls of those buildings or at least hole them properly.

Two troopers have unloaded from the car, preparing to fire the nades, while Angel had to machinegun down random buildings.

— En nombre de dios, perdono tus pecados, pues el momento de tu arrepentimiento ha llegado.

As Angel finished his prayer, an ear-piercing thunder started instantly after. The two outcast grenade launcher shock troopers both fired off the grenades all the while hundreds of armour-piercing rounds penetrated every building within the firing range. Screams of terror and agony almost deafened out the heavy gatling gun.

The guards did not even have any time to react to the immediate fire from Outcasts as their limbs got torn off by Aparicio.

Both of the grenades detonated as they impacted a several story building, decimating the entire front side of it. Shortly after, another salvo of grenades hit what seemed like a small shrine, crumbling it all apart.

Silence. A full stop came to any and all sounds as Angel ceased the fire. Nothing but ruin and mangled bodies remained in front of them.

— Lady Enma.

Enma would observe everything into binocle. It was kinda loud and explosions are bright. Enma is finishing the energy drink just as Angel was finishing the people out there. She thought about how good to have actual firearms and not fight on the swords or something, blood everywhere, ew. Loyola took it as they were done here, she would be taking binocle away and throwing an empty can into the opened window.

— Confirming good hits. Let's head back to the ship.
