✠ Background

Dross does not remember much of what happened in his past due to intense alcohol consumption. Born on a freeport, he eventually rebelled against the oppressors of the Zoner, The Core. This resulted in the partial destruction of Freeport 11 and his loss of all docking rights to all Zoner stations. Not to mention the hefty sums of bounties on his head which certain individuals are trying to claim even today.

When Dross wandered aimlessly through Sirius, he eventually met an Unioner who offered him food and water. Since he was still a Captain of the Arcadia Colony ship, it was easy to comply with this demand. Dying consciously, Dross decided to give his most valuable thing, daughter Mary in the supposedly good care of a Unioner Gunda Riehl. He went on a dangerous journey that brought him to the limits of the Sirius sector. After a few months he returned, changed. Thereupon, without the direct knowledge of the Union leadership, he helped his daughter by taking over certain tasks for her. Shortly before sensing danger in Bering he left his daughter, who harbors a grudge against him even today.

Hiding the Arcadia in the shadows, he joined the Gaian Guards after he heard about them during his time with the Union and wanted to support them. Supporting allies as well as observing the omegas was one of his tasks. During the events of the Gallic War, Dross decided to turn away from the Gaian guards and retreat to the depths of the Taus with the Arcadia to settle down a bit.

One day on Freeport 10, Dross saw a message that caught his eye, a Cartel offered money for mercenaries. Bored by sitting around, Dross decided to make himself available. Soon he was in contact with various mercenaries for the Cartel.
