► Full name: Jan Von Potsdam
► Brief biography: Born to a Military family, Jan spent much of his youth on Potsdam, where his parents were assigned to testing facilities. While serving aboard The Ring installation during the Rheinland-Liberty war, Jan was shaken by the sheer amount of attacks the installation suffered, and now he views as the radical forces from within and outside of Rheinland as the largest threat to the colony. Due their status as a Military family, the Von Potsdams are fierce Imperialists.

► Remarkable encounters as Independent Player/ Previous INRP encounters: I can’t say that I’ve had any so far, as I am still trying to figure out where I want to be in the scheme of the MND. I have, however, had encounters with independents during my duties as both an RM and UN member, where they were acting in the interest of state security.

Reasons for joining the Marine Abwehrdienst

To protect the people of Rheinland, whatever form that takes. To fight against violent radicals. To continue in his parent’s footsteps as a special weapons officer.

► Are you familiarized with the current conflicts in Rheinland? Outline them (copy/paste will mean inmediate and permanent rejection): The current conflicts Rheinland face are largely political at the moment. With the territorial disupute in the Sigma territories currently at a ceasefire, our fleets have largely returned to fight the rising influence of radical pirates. In addition, several entities that shall remain nameless are currently under suspicion, and the border area in and around Hamburg remains a hotzone, as we recover more materiel from the war with Liberty, and fend off the Seperatists. Also of note, the Rheinland and Bretonian governments have achieved a level of cooperation not seen before, leaving the Omega systems in a precarious position, as the military might of two houses is mustered to tame them.

► OORP Reason for joining and/or Sponsor: As a fairly new but active member in RM, I’ve reached the point where I want to figure out what I want to do RP-wise. An appealing option is MAD, as it would likely be the Intelligence arm of the Military once BND is on its’ feet. Bannorn’s put me through some of the details, and I’ve had some chats with Lichthammer/Elune on what the BND is aspiring to be.
