After almost a lifetime exploring Sirius alone with my trusty Percheron avoiding war zones and most conflicts doing business with whoever I can make the most profit with I started to finally feel that maybe it's time to move up in life - and also have some company from time to time. On my current trade route I started to pay more and more attention to convoys composed of Rheinlands fine vessels... Then it struck me; I could trade my old ship to an used Colossus at Alster Shipyard, hire me a small crew and maybe try to get my hands on a freighter class unit to use whenever I feel the need for exploratory endeavours by myself - after all it's all I know.
Many have called this hermit captain a misanthropist and there might be some truth behind those claims. But when you never knew where you came and who came before you it's kind of hard to make any deeper contacts with your kind. I was brought up on a variety of ships by a variety of people and most of my life I've been in depths of space watching how men stab each other in the back when a chance is given to them. I imagine life on surface must be even worse.
That's why I like to work alone - but enough blabbering this was supposed to be a formal application after all.
Me, Captain Kari Moor am offering my services as a contractor working fully under the flag of the Republican Shipping Corporation and I am ready to fill contracts and assignments given to me by the company. I'd like to still hold on to my freedom to practise trading when there is no imminent need for my services on behalf of the corporation. All (or most) of the business in my latest years has quite suitably been in line with ways of Republican Shipping and if I am accepted as a part of the fleet it will most certainly be beneficial for all parties involved.
