I'll skip the fake pleasantries.

Consider this a formal resignation of my post as Field Marshal. Procedure dictates that I state the reason for my departure, the gross inefficiency of the Military I've been attempting to lead is sufficient enough reason to dissuade me from trying to preserve a sinking ship. Faced with constant pressure to uphold some semblance of professionalism while also putting up with constant behind-the-back criticism from officers of a distinctly lower caliber has rendered me unwilling to continue to hold this post.

I'll move myself to Darmstadt and spend what's left of my service period with the Militia stationed there. The further away I am from the bloated and inadequate entity that seeks to represent itself as an armed force, the better for my temperament.
