But korrd, many tizonas would not help so much, since only freighters&Fighters have shield. Transports, trains and cap ships don't. So just 2 would be enough.

I would use 3 tizzies, 2 cerberus, a nova, a supernova and a hornet. That would allow me to bring down shields pretty fast, have something to use against fighters and the means to stop transports from running.
Haven't tried that yet. My current "bad guy" ship is a maxed out Sabre. I love that ship. I think it's the best fighter from vanilla FL... Some people might not agree (*cough* Dab *cough*), but with that Sabre, i can destroy an Eagle in ~20 seconds, sometimes less. Depends on opponent skill...
