You are demonstrating that the tensions in regards to this subject go rather far back, and could be seen as an action in an attempt to end the contention in the developers' favor? I concede that no, I didn't know, because I was not around for whatever yuletide drama occurred, and indeed was gone for two years on top of that. Perhaps others could throw in their two cents, if they want to assert that yes, they assumed that their actions carried some level of meaning, that what they wrote had some manner of purpose and function?
Roleplay itself is the creation of a story, and if there is a disconnect this fundamental? Perhaps this document is more serious because of it, because this could serve to further widen the gap, alienating the two groups and potentially causing more severe drama because of it.
