Her night had been restless at first, but over time she had settled into a deep sleep. As she woke, she was disorientated, she was unsure where she was or how she got there. There was a moment of panic which subsided as she pieced the events of the day before back together.
She noticed him sitting beside her, sipping the coffee while going through paperwork. She smiled, he hadn't left her here alone.
