OK so if I understand, you are claiming that you engaged, left a fight and docked out of range of anyone to see, then returned to the area shortly after and docked again without fighting or talking? but within range of the other players.

I think I understand as this one is in the margine zone. Did the OC's leave and come back too or were they still there from when you were in the fight?

The thing is, if they were around and close enough to get your dock message, they were within range. If they were still there from when you were in the fight, to them, they saw you there, then gone, then back and docked, so if you came back after that, to them its like you were fighting and then docked. It sort of depends on that. If they never left, you can leave, and get away to dock somewhere else, and if they don't see the message, you aren't pvp dead. If you fly back to the battle zone, within just even 10 minutes, and then dock in front of them, you may have taken a chance you shouldn't have.

The OC screenshots don't have any in game timestamps, that should be a must.
