Recent long range scans of the Edge Nebula revealed a shift in the area surrounding the Omicron Chi system. Where once was a cloud of nebulaeic gas now sits a vast open expanse revealing three hidden planets and an extensive ring system. Legacy command has deemed the system important to explore, as recent scouting reports have indicated potential alien ruins as well as the involvement of local and foreign forces in the exploitation of the newly revealed treasure trove of information.

This initiative is open to all Legacy operatives, and Research and Development is tasked with investigating the solar bodies within the system for potential alien threats.
