As you are aware, we have parted from the Doe Industries umbrella. Deep Space Engineering is now an independent entity. After some deliberation, and the results of the last fitness check on Doe Industries Space Port, we are relocating our Headquarters, smelter, and security departments. Unfortunately this will require these departments to work out of Baltimore Shipyard until the new station is constructed; As unfortunate as this is, I will not risk having any staff on board Doe Industries Space Port at this point in time due to safety concerns.
I have directed our trade department to gather the required supplies for the construction of this station, and our tech team is on standby. With the cooperation of everyone in Deep Space Engineering, and our friends around Sirius, I expect everything to go smoothly. There is no reason the shield and additional storage modules cannot be constructed within a mater of hours after the commissioning of the station.
As expected, Permission has been granted to construct this station. I would not ask any of the staff here at Deep Space Engineering to undertake this task if that was not the case.
Although we are pending construction, please see attached files for location and supply requirements:
As expected, the construction of Chesterfield Station went exactly to plan. I would like to thank all staff involved in this. The Shield module, as well as the additional storage module have been deployed within the expected time frame. We do not expect there to be any threat, and have requested additional security around the area until the final touches are complete on Chesterfield Station. As we are aware, with the departments expecting to relocate here, we will require some expansions. I request you be patient while we complete this.
