Johann was yet 15 years old. His schooling was not yet complete, and he was nearing his school. This school was simply called Die Stuttgart Suede Gymnasium. It was amongst the top four schools on the planet, and the foremost in the souther hemisphere.

Johann came late by almost 20 minutes, and he rushed into his Rheinland history class. He walked in during a lesson regarding the 80-years war. At every group of three desks sat a holomap of Sigma-13 with Volotile Gas Pockets marked in yellow amongst the shade of blue that was the Crow Nebula. Johann rushed to his seat on the right side of the classroom, and was given odd stares by his friend Hanz Kuhler.

"Warum bist du sp?t? Bist du Johann?" (Why are you late? you are Johann, right?) Hanz whispered to Johann as their teacher dribbled on about the cowardice of the GMG during the firefights of the 80-Years War and their inability to face the Rheinwehr in a fair fight.

"Da ist viele Auto! Wir brauchen mehr Raum draussen." (There were too many cars. We need more space outside.)

"H?rst du uber die Freudenthal Familie? Sie sind tot! Sie sagen dass Pirat toten sie." (Have you heard about the Freundenthals? They're dead. They say that pirates did it...)

"Pirat? Na klar, sie sind nur Fl?stern. Geiste und Fl?stern." (Pirates? Sure, that's just Whispers. Ghosts and whispers.)

"Nein, du bist so ein Scheissekopf, Johann! Sie sind tot! Ich sehe es! Tot!" (No, you're such a ****head, Johann. They're dead! I've seen it! Dead!)

"Eich? Du siehst es? Na klar, sie sind tot. Und mein Hund fliegt, ja? Na klar, tot." (Really? You saw it? Sure, they're dead. And my dog flies. Sure, dead.)
