Some politicians were killed in explosions by terrorists, who spread through the nation. Innocent workers, hiding in their homes, daring to come outside only to obtain food or fire guns. Military members quitting their duties, wearing Freelancer clothes and joining conflict at the side they wish to join.

Former soldier Erich Weinberg followed the same route, replacing his uniform to less recognized, civil clothing. He used this as an opportunity to obtain weaponry he could not obtain in a peaceful time.

Before fully leaving the army, he used his contacts to bribe certain people, acquiring a set of guns which he planned to use against the ships of all thepsychos that would stand in his way.

FEURBALLs caught his eye, the ultimate plasma weapons. Based on the Flammenwerfer series, they were made in limited numbers in the 790s, those cannons became highly valued for their ability to explode enemy vessels in the same way as an explosion from nuclear mine.
