Lucien took in a soft but sharp breath as if he were about to speak before being cut off by his hallucination.

"Look at me." Anna turned around, walking behind the chair where the Admiral was sitting. She leaned against the table, planting both her palms on top. She wore scars all over her face, and the gunshot wound that had supposedly killed her - still appeared fresh. "You did this to me; you never had the strength, to tell the truth, you wouldn't listen to me! Now you think you can just walk back into my life like nothing's changed!"

Lucien's emotional response was barely outmatched by his will to appear professional in front of the Admiral. He couldn't believe it though, he couldn't believe that vision was his wife - he had to see for himself.

Sir, it's not the fact that my wife's alive that you'd be interested in... it's who she is.

"Go on, sell your soul to him! He'll never let you anywhere near me! All you're doing as adding to the list of ammunition the world has against me! You're looking inwards at my expense, just like you did all those years ago! Maybe this time it'll be easier now that you don't have a SON!"

Lucien's head moved about, trying to suppress his feelings as his wife spat in his face. "Do you know what my life has been like?! I wake up every day hoping, dreaming, that someone will end it all for me-" He took it in for a moment, trying to ignore the constant berating before finally just ignoring her and carrying on.

She was a Hessian sir, and now she's the most famous one. The vocal beat-down came to a close, and the hallucination stopped. In the blink of an eye everything came to a close, and Lucien took the second to lean back and catch his breath. The Admiral was silent, likely caught off guard completely from the revelation. Anticipating an overcautious response, Lucien continued.

You might think it's... insane, strange, how is that possible? He made a few hand gestures as he listed off all the things one could claim about the situation. Fifteen years ago you would've looked at her and thought the polar opposite; like everyone else that lived in that settlement with us did... I need to see her, if I get just a few moments to speak with her I could change the course of everything. His words sounded more like a desperate request than an admission, he could only hope going forward that the request would be -in some way- obliged.
