Notes by Enma Loyola:

She's great, know her since when I was a kid. She was older than me and used to beat up assholes that tried to bully me. Not like we were close friends, but I kept in contact with her. We'd meet from time to time and have a good time together whenever I had the day off and she was nearby. It's weird that we didn't have anything common when it comes to drinks or food. And we actually don't have a lot in common and we are still getting along very well. And I always found it fascinating, I just have no idea what our friendship is even based on.

Back in 826, I paid her as my personal fitness trainer, but sadly I was only good at cardio, which is not that hard really. So I gave up on sports..., maybe it should change, but oh well, we'll see. Mary served mostly as the captain at combat transports, but I'd not ever doubt her personal values. No matter what's happening, she's always taking it on the chin. At least she did in most situations when I wasn't so brave or decisive. So keeping her around as the captain to compensate my natural cowardness seems like a good idea.

Mary is rare to annoy me as well, she's a great person, as I noted. She's not a hypocrite or anything like it, will always say what she thinks. She's a little bit blunt and naive, but that looks adorable for me personally, though I heard that it's annoying for some. No one can't deny that she can lead and inspire, which is the most valuable thing, along with experience when it comes to leading the ship crew. I think Mery is the ideal candidate for being the captain, coming from my experience. There are people, of course, who are more experienced with commanding actual warships, but there's a certain lack of trust when it comes to them. Loyalty and let's say a lack of ambition is something that I value more.

I could always replace her if anything, but she seems to be willing to take this job and I feel like she won't disappoint me.
