A simple question: How much time does you take when you "balance" a ship? And how many users of the ship does you ask in the process?
When you "balanced" the Ish'tar you did nothing of this.
Yes, ok, when i see the lines and tables, there is only one BS with a powercore of more than 9million: the Ish'Tar.
Uh, help, this beast can kill all other BS with 3-5 full bursts. Yes, it can.
That's OP, we have to nerve it! No, you didn't.
Yes, you should see that the Ish'tar is a beast against PoB's and Cap-Pilots with low skills.
But against Bombers it's only an extrem huge target. It has only 7 secoundarys and move like a Humpback whale on the beach.
Did you ever try to dock this ship at a station? If you did this without 3-10 minutes in more than two of ten tries, you are really lucky. Especially when you try to dock a a Base where the Speedock-Point isn't visible like the Dur-Shurrikun in Omicron Iota. Or a Nomad-Tradelane/Nomad Jumpgate.
The Ish'tar is arround 50% larger than a Marduk and now they have the same powercore?
Even a Rheinland-BS is small against an Ish'tar, so if you really think you have to nerve it, you should do your job complete and also reduce it's size!
But sorry, this was a really bad job.
all posts on the discovery official forums must be in understandable and readable english.
Also, a BS being a massive target for bombers means nothing, flaks exists, and so do CDs, which any of it's allies can take into battle, if you're flying an ish'tar alone, of course you're going to get utterly destroyed
if you're good the stat change won't matter much, docking with it wasn't hard, just took me a few tries to learn how in single player, you could ask them to fix that instead of whining about a nerf.
If you don't like the job they did, put in some time and become a balance dev so you can do it yourself, ez pz.
