There was so much to take in, every day pulled in a new set of emotions; and just when he thought he could wrap his head around everything - there was something more to grasp. His meeting on Vogtland went about as well as he anticipated, he got to witness his mother in person. After the meeting had passed and the two had returned, he did give into Alfred's conclusion about similarities between the two. The way she talked, the way she thought, carried herself, even small bits of humor. But even behind that all there was something more, a gap that needed to be filled - or maybe explained.

Isaak sat back in one of the guest chairs in the Admiral's office, Edmund sat down behind his desk shifting through Isaak's report. You think you can get through to her? Said Edmund as he continued to shift through the report. I know I can, Sir. Isaak replied. Edmund stopped, taking a breath and putting down the report. How? She knows she's dead no matter where she goes, if not that then running constantly for the rest of her life. More importantly. if I tell her who you are now, my brother dies and people will come for you. Alfred will haunt me in the afterlife, you understand? Edmund said, turning towards Isaak in the process. If we leave her as she is, she won't stop killing. She can't be stopped with brute force, Sir - you need to let me speak with her. Edmund leaned back, irritated by the fact that Isaak was right in a sense. This whole family issue had suddenly blown up in his face, despite his and Rheinland's best efforts and pilots - nothing came to avail.


Isaak's PDA rang, he opened it up in response as Edmund continued to think on the whole matter. After a few seconds he began scrolling through it. He's here. I'll go escort him up. Wouldn't want the crew to look at him as the descendant of an outlaw. Isaak said with a touch of sarcasm, and a faint smile as he stood up and exited the room.
