in my opinion it's very unfair that civilian stuff like "basic turrets" got much less damage in comparison to military-grade things. I mean you go to gun store in RL and you can buy the same Glock 19 as a police officer got or even a soldier in the military. Take an example from Bustard its beautiful ship but does not have any hardpoints for Heavy guns which are highly unfair

Civilians should not be able to compete with militaries on the same level otherwise it defeats the purpose of a strong military.

I respect your opinion but I highly disagree with it, just take for example snubs civilian or not they both got almost same rating guns and armor the only thing that changes its the pilot skills. So I think we should make the same for civilians, all and all you should not even worry about civilians threatening military personnel since FL ID allows combat status only if you are under attack or you got escort or bounty contract
