Claire's tension eased, for a moment. It seemed he didn't want to push the topic further, which was all Claire really needed. She was upset about what just transpired to the Outcast crew members, but that was overshadowed by the relief of realising she's not next on the chopping block. It seems he was still aware of her title.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that, commandeur. The Outcasts are our enemies because they pirate and raid, but these ones brought aid. These aren't the times to be picky as to who helps you." she spoke with returning clarity, taking advantage of her situation to move things forward. She leaned back slightly and rested her head on her arm, thinking on how to best approach this next. "Well, at least the location of this ship is safe for now, they won't learn what happened in time..."

"The cargo that came wasn't just general maintenance and rations, it also has engine and electrical components. They're civilian grade, but at least Gallic, so I'm sure the engineers would be able to use them to get the ship moving if we replace what was sabotaged." Claire took out a small handheld device that expanded itself to reveal a glass screen display. She tapped on it a few times before planting it on the table and sliding it across to the commander. A text-only comms message displayed.

"There's a large number of Royal Navy and Police ships still active in the Taus that are actively fighting against the Council, and they've introduced themselves as the 'Enclave'. They established themselves in Aquitaine and the surrounding systems, on what the Bretonians called Planet Gaia. If my memory serves corrently, there was a shipbuilding infrastructure there that we could use to return this ship to operational condition. We need to reach their space." she continued to explain before taking a pause to think.

"What's the situation on the Belisama? How is the crew?"
