Orbital Announces First Annual Rally Championship, Untold Riches and Fame for Winner

Planet Curacao - Orbital Spa and Cruise announced today the creation of the first annual “Community Culture Rally”. Spread across eight stages which will not only visit each of the great houses of Sirius, but additional exotic destinations. With Stage One, the Curacao Circuit taking place this [TIME HERE]. This eight stage championship wouldn’t be complete without a grand prize. A percentage of all entry fees and a Capital Armor Upgrade Mk 8. Additionally each stage will have its own 1st place prize with Stage One featuring a Capital Armor Upgrade Mk 5 in addition to an ever growing prize pool. The stakes are high with this rule-less race to the bar and back. With only a set start point, and a set turn point. Racers will have a multitude of options to achieve the goal of purchasing a Pint of Liberty Ale from the Surface of Manhattan, and returning to the surface of Curacao. With First place going to whichever racer can make the shortest lap time it is expected that the majority of the entry's may choose to go with a fast fighter they should be warned that pirate activity is on the rise and there is no guarantee of safe travel, even in the heart of Liberty. Each Stage has the following point breakdown.

Point Breakdown

1st place – 25 points
2nd place – 18 points
3rd place – 15 points
4th place – 12 points
5th place – 10 points
6th place – 8 points
7th place – 6 points
8th place – 4 points
9th place – 2 points
10th place – 1 point

With eight stages there is a total of 808 points available to win with 101 up for grabs in each stage for the Rally Racer Entries.

For our Corporate Partners who wish to Sponsor this particular stage (and future stages) we offer the same system but in lieu of an entry participant the Sponsors will instead fund a racer, with any points that racer wins then being tallied towards that Sponsors total. Additionally there is no restriction of number of Sponsors per racer, in the event that the stage winner is Sponsored by more than a single Corporate Partner winnings will be divided equally among each sponsor. Finally Corporate Sponsors are not obligated to select a racer until 12 hours before the event but may provide the Sponsor Fee ahead of time to pre-book a slot selection. (//Yes you are basically gambling on the racers with a chance to win a grand prize should you fail to pick a winner this stage.)

Rally Stage - Regulations

Racers will be separated by an interval of 1:30 or other time set by the on site race coordinator
Racers will be obligated to land on Planet Manhattan to purchase a minimum of 1 unit of Liberty Ale.
There are no other restrictions.

Flight Risks

The route is long for a reason, you might have a trade lane disrupted, a pirate might attack you, the Police might want a cargo scan, worse yet, your fellow racers might consider you a target as well.

It might be better to take a different route than the rest, or pay your friends to sabotage the competition.
