Venator Ipaxatori;

It's been a long time, but we're in the final stages of the construction of your smelting plant. With the loss of business in other areas, we've had a lot of unused capacity, so we've been able to focus more on projects like this one. I'll give you a brief outline of the functionality of the facility.

- Cargo bay C8 is has been cleared and reinforced for bulk scrap storage. The bulkhead lock from the central harbor serves as a radiation shield for potential hazards from reactor components and is not to be entered by unshielded personnel. The divisional barrier at line at B+22 marks a structural hazard area and is not to be passed by any personnel unless the bay is clear and passes a radiation inspection. The capacity of the bay is rated at 4 000 tons which should not be exceeded under any circumstance.

- The connecting section to the smelting facility is outfitted with a HTO "Handyman" 7710 crane and magnetic compression unit. After preliminary inspection, scrap components can be handled by the system automatically, which will separate bulk smelting product and usable components, compress and move the materials into the processing unit. The unit can be accessed via maintenance shaft C-R4 if necessary, which has been fitted with a separate radiation bulkhead.

- Designated F5, the actual smelting facility is where the "real" work happens, so to speak. It is bisected into the reactor refurbishment section, accessible only with radiation hazmat gear, and the smelting section, which is accessible with standard heat-protection gear. The overall capacity of the foundry is approximately forty tons per hour, dependent on the alloys processed. In a convenient twist to an otherwise unfortunate circumstance, we have been able to bring in a number of components from Dortmund's smelters after we ceased operations.

That concludes the brief technical overview of the expansion. Of course, the blueprints and maintenance instructions have been supplied to the station's management. Of course, to actually run these facilities, qualified engineering personnel will be needed. Naturally, we encourage you to hire ALG staff for this, as with the recent loss of nearly all our Rheinland assets, we are overflowing with specialized personnel out of work.

Regards,

Marika Hornik
