The Nonsense Factory
Prototype weapon - LOG_1

In the corner of the station that some just think its a hunk of junk floating in space. The "Factory" -as many refer to it from the inner circles- is actually a functional and busy place. Busy keeping all the Liberty Rogue ships flying and functioning. For a while now. I've called this place my home. A corner to test and develop my personal stuff. I'm still an engineer by heart... but Rogue in the mind. That's whats let me try to assemble these "prototype" weapons for our Destroyers... However, it's not the easiest task.

Almost everything we know about this weaponry is speculation and a huge pain to figure out all the different blueprints available on the neutral net. Its a real mess...
Most of the problems occurred when the differences in the power consumption needed to effectively charge the dissolves and keep the stabilizer levels at a common rate that doesn't create a loopback high enough that will melt the controller. In simple terms: Firing the weapon. This is a very powerful technology... but our power outputs and input systems need upgrading. I must say working on my own Destroyer always brings back good memories. From all the coolant leaks... to reactor failures... good times.

I don't have sufficiently fine technology like the Lane Hackers... but I can get this thing functional. Its power drain is a bit unstable.. but that will not affect the main reason why this weapon is such a big thing. That plasmatic "ball" if you wish to call it that way, can do some serious damage to any hull panels. My smaller tests had no issue melting trough basic armor plates. If my calculations are correct, my ship's power core will be able to handle two of these turrets with good enough stability that it will not blow up in the first action. Well, I might not have the sophisticated tech to do the fine calculations... I can still eyeball things fairly accurately

In the future, I might import some higher quality heat sinks. But these will do for a while. Now all I need to do is to month these prototypes and test them out in life.
