Background Born a well off child on Los Angeles, Amy was raised alongside her brother, Nolan, and her two sisters, Madeline and Haley. In her late teenage years, Amy graduated from her neighborhood high school and soon was enrolled into college, majoring in computer software programming and minoring in electrical engineering. Her parents, logically, were very proud of her, and her mother in particular was ecstatic when she decided to follow her mother into the employ of Ageira Technologies. However, after numerous arguments and non-noticed work, Amy pulled her card and quit, soon joining up with the local band of Lane Hackers. Her work with the Mactan Hackers was largely noticed by convoys and patrols alike as she herself committed to the cause in full, using the name itself as motivation to get back at her former employers. While there wasn't much she could do outside literally hacking the lanes and stopping convoys, her commitment to the cause kept her passion up and her motivation strong. In early 822 A.S., while on patrol with a few Hacker affiliates, the group was ambushed by a wing of bounty hunter fighters. While West herself was shot down, her skill in fighter craft coming from her brief tours as an Ageira escort pilot, one of her wingmates managed to haul her back to Mactan, where she was induced into a medically diagnosed coma, not awaking until late September 824 A.S. She was soon cast out from her former home, forced to roam, the politics of the Lane Hackers changing since she was inducted. She was brought into the Hellfire Legion at the behest of the then-Executive Commander of the Legion, at first as a civilian, and soon enlisting as a full Legionnaire. West has since been a member of the Legion for the better part of the last three years, her dedication to the Legion's ideal of reforming the corrupt nature of Liberty aligning with her own desire to get back at Ageira. She soon rose to the head position of the Legion, and began a coordinative effort with the Liberty Separatists under Battlegroup Harmony to fend off the Concord's invasion of Bering. Devoting much of the Legion to the endeavour, she was ridiculed by command back in the Commonwealth, and after being denied her reinforcements during an operation she claims was 'in the best interest of both the Legion and the Commonwealth', she gave the order for the Commonwealth to be dissolved, and the Legion soon after merged with the Separatists to form the Insurgency. West currently commands Battlegroup Gladius, focusing her efforts on ensuring the Commonwealth dissidents are silenced and that the Legion's legacy remains in the minds of the Navy.
