But the current Condor doesn't fit the CTE line.

And if my attempt at replacing it is not satisfactory - I will try harder to make a better design, there is no rush.

In my opinion you are doing more than great... Im really looking forward to see this gunboat live on server, it will perfectly fit CTE line! I dont think there would be issues. In all of that there would be always few individuals which will disagree with this as there were in any other ship WIP before
