I'll start off by saying that as much as you're trying to defend Jinx, and the rest of the dev team - you're wrong, Seth. No, the modelers don't get paid for what they do, nor anyone else in the development team. But they willingly joined such a team, and made some commitments. They are volunteers, and volunteers do stuff for other people without whining about it. They can work on their personal projects, that's fine, but they also have to listen to the feedback they get from the rest of the dev team and the community.
Yes, that includes Jinx, Gurjiv, AoM, Doom, Lohingren and the rest. And as far as I know, the dev team has priorities, and those currently are custom station models and replacing imports and ships that don't exactly fit in Discovery. You're being too subjective when you're saying you won't replace a model because of 'popularity' issues. I mean, the Catamaran was a pretty popular ship, yet it got replaced. So that's not exactly a valid reason.
Now you listed those ships, and it's all cool and stuff. You don't even know what you're talking about.
The Tigershark, Havoc, Virage and Hacker Gunboat are custom ships made for Discovery, yes, but it doesn't mean they fit in this mod. Also, the ships that are 'not used so much', well maybe because people don't like flying such horrible looking imports (since you were talking about quality). And your Orca revision, I agree that it should be put in, since it resembles the rest of the BHG line. You made it, and now you're saying 'looks' aren't enough to revise a ship?
