Been a long while since I've done one of these. Let's see..
For my first patrol since getting reinstated to the Naval Forces I decided to check what's up in the contested region - Tau 31. Was pretty barren at-first until I was met by a sellsword going by the callsign Cerulean,Reaver. I presume this is the work of the Crayterian Republic which has resorted to outsourcing outside help and thus, recruited them - no doubt with hefty sums of credits - to deter their belligerents in the Tau battlefield - us Naval Forces included.
After an exchange of boasts and ego-inflating words a skirmish would follow suit. Forgot to mention Captain Hitokiri was by my side at this event, but I took the decision to teach the mercenary some Kyushu-style dogfighting on my own.
It turned out to be a bittersweet tie.
To all officers reading this report - beware of this vagabond, he is one of the finest pilots I've ever encountered and I wouldn't recommend giving him a fair-chance for fear that he'd use you to grease his own ship.
Later, after my ship was reconstructed back on the Nagasaki, I decided to keep at bay and head inwards to Tau-29. When I arrived at the Freeport-junction I met two Corse pilots claiming that their rights were being infringed, but there was no symptoms of such. I concluded that they were flirting with a Freelancer Sabre that was at the scene. But then appeared a suspicious contact by the callsign of Mahi - flying a Jackdaw.
A quick scan showed the pilot was equipped with Nomad Hybrid Cannons - a staple remark of a Wild-affiliated ship. Needless to say I dispatched it with zeal, rather easily I will add. Itto-Kaii Umakai Miwa was at the scene and can pledge for my actions, in the stead of me failing to provide evidence of equipment-scans.
