Solid advice there. - If you haven't already, I'd suggest joining the Discovery Discord server, as there are also additional Discord server links there for a variety of groups in Disco.

These days, organised encounters tend to be more common, with for example; BAF| logging loads of ships and going into Omega-49, someone who plays Coalition will ping people to log and respond. Good fun, if you're looking for battles.

Else, lookout for events on the forums, some of the player ones have been brilliant! Others I regret having missed. Sometimes we'll have official events which could be anything from combat to trade, both can potentially earn you big buck.

Otherwise, the best advice has already been given to you if you're just looking to get your feet wet.
