Fun day, this one.
Hopkins, Duhamel, and responded to what looked like a Royal incursion into Liberty today. Unusual seeing frogs this far from their pond, but not unlikely. The war's still probably a dream for them. After hearing a report of one of the incursionists being a Triumph-class destroyer, I moved to get the Milwaukee up to speed and into position. We engaged the frogs just outside of West Point, with Duhamel and Hopkins taking on the strikecraft while we took on the destroyer.
A shame for them. Seems Royal R&D let these incursionists have a defective model, or maybe they're all just crap.
Once more heavy support arrived, I elected to return the Milwaukee to port, grabbing my Guardian once more. The ensuing furball was dragged into the Badlands, where one of the defective ships was torn apart by my guns, though I fell soon after. I can only assume the heavy support drove the rest of them off, or maybe they're just littered about the Badlands like Rogues and Outcasts patrols just sweep aside like casual each day.
Either way, we had a good brawl, and kept the Liberty victory fresh in their minds.
The odd IFFs were strange, though probably comes with defective models.
