To Hades Command, this is Commodore Grey reporting.
Argos command was monitoring the situation in Tau-31 near the anomaly to Tau-44 in Harris orbit, when we were approached by both a Kusari Naval warship, the Arashiyama, and a Natio Octavarium gunship, the Victorious March. Understanding talks with the captain of the Arashiyama began once we had disabled our long range sensor rigging, and it appeared at first that neither side wanted conflict, despite the presence of the Kusari Naval Forces aboard Barra Anchorage. While the communications were intriguing to say the least, they quickly deteriorated once confirmation of more approaching units was made. At this point, callsign Zulu had made their approach, and moved into formation with the Argos.
The Kusari pilots, equipped to counter the Argos, made a strong effort to force us out, and despite the efforts of the captain of the Arashiyama, who did make an effort to request our mobilization towards Tau-44, their escorts opened fire without any visible hesitation. Argos was critically damaged in the resulting engagement, Zulu and Victorious March as well.
We've made our way back to the safety of Tau-44, but cannot account for the full extent of the damage to the ship. A report will be made later in the day once we have confirmation of the extent.
