Freeport 9 - Omicron Theta - Orbital Spa and Cruise is pleased to announce today the winner of “The Big Survey”! So without further ado Congratulations Frederic who was randomly chosen out of the many many submitted survey results. Remember, don’t spend it all in one place! In other happy news Orbital also confirmed earlier this afternoon that flights to Freeport 9 would be doubled in the coming days from only twice a month to a weekly service. “Even though we launched this service only a week ago we have already been booked solid clear to the end of next month” James Blackwood, Sub-Director for Triton Expeditions, said at this afternoons briefing aboard the Hawaii. “With the uptick in demand” he continued “we have naturally increased service and are now running weekly service to Freeport 9.” Not everyone is excited about Orbitals appearance upon the edge however. “Time and again letting outsiders in have led to our downfall” one angry Freeport 9 recident wrote to us here at the Gazette. “First Erie, then Freeport 2, then Gran Canaria. Again, again, and again when we allow any outsiders into any of our homes it leads to problems with their enemies, not ours, THEIRS!” The letter then took a jab at the Freeport Administrator, Sun Koken. “And this administrator of ours, who is supposed to look out for our interests has now exposed us to all of the turmoil and strife that comes with having a corporation involved in our home, they need to be sent packing now!” Their letter, which was delicately affixed to a brick thrown through our window, was sadly unsigned. Others however were slightly more indifferent "I recently saw more OS&C vessels appear in the Nomad Worlds.” Luna Lund, an Omicron Zoner on the Freeport 9 public message board. “Are those civilians really sure they should be touring systems as dangerous as these? The Nomads grow ever more restless by the day and now they show up? I better hope they have a tight security detail, or they will be wiped out like all others who ventured here unprepared."
