MAE's ambition for exploration and colonization of new frontiers cannot be satisfied due to the lack of finances. Tromelin station, however, was developed in such a way so it can be refitted in if needed.

Now, the Board of Directors is going to stop the exploration project and refit station to be a civilian shipyard in the ownership of the corporation. Nevertheless, its current location has no benefits for such a task and thus Tromelin has to be relocated.

Recent success of cooperation with the Interstellar Beacon through a daughter company, the so-called Altair Robotics, who cared for Kerguelen after MAE left Gallia and methods they mentioned in the communication gave MAE engineers a few ideas how to move the station within Brittany system with minimal risk to damage it.
