made by currently acting commanding officer Barbora Shedivova. Captain is still being examined at the Schatten Research Facility. Good new is, that he is still human and all he needs is enough time for recovery. Bad news is, that he needs time for that and I'll be doing his job for now.

As we have crew shortages, we've been cleared by high command to do recruitment on a planet Weimar. So far we have have 196 applicants, including 23 marines. Not much, but it would be easier to introduce them to the Friedrich Der Große and its crew. We'll be continuing our recruitment until we reach 90% of our crew.

Our chief engineer and his teams made progress today. Reactors #1, #3 and #4 can be repaired. We'll have to replace all worn-out components, but it is doable. Reactor #2 will be different matter, though, as it's beyond repair and we will have to replace it.
Without it, Friedrich Der Große won't be having enough power to jump even if we had a operational jump drive.

Chief engineer will be now looking for ways how to restore our engines to full efficiency.
