Greetings Command,

Please find attached two reports from earlier this week. Apologies for the tardiness in the filing of these.

Report 1 - 07-29-827

While on patrol I encountered a BDM craft callsign Hrimfaxi which was hauling Military Salvage. In line with liberty law I ordered the craft to 'heave to', the captain was co-operative. However shortly after the conversation began a Rogue gunboat class vessel callsign badblood and a Independent Pirate bomber callsign Charteaux arrived at our location (NY->California Jumpgate). Luckily, around this time the LPI gunboat Fort.Dix arrived and gave chase to the gunboat. As both me and a 1st Fleet bomber piloted by Jeremiah Sawyer were on-scence we were able to control the situation.

We ordered the BDM transport to proceed to West Point to provide it with cover. I proceeded through the gate first to escort with the 1st Fleet Bomber covering from the rear. At this point Charteaux continued to follow, it was decided that we would split duties and that Commander Sawyer would deal with the transport while I dispatched Charteaux. The hostile bomber was successfully taken out of commission at which point I returned to base.

Report 2 - 07-30-827

There was a large gathering of friendly craft within the Manhattan defence grid. I joined these craft for a short while, at which point a Lane Hacker craft arrived callsign 'Mildred Wolfe'. LSF light engaged the target and although they were able to cause considerable damage were bested by the bomber craft. At this point a rogue IFF sabre appeared with the callsign of simple. I issued the usual challenge and response and engaged the craft as they were carrying LPI personnell in the hold.

I am afraid to say that I was not doing well in the engagement. In a strange turn of events a wild vessel callsign Ikiryo|Aoi which engaged the rogue craft. I pulled back as my craft was damaged and also to assess the situation. The wild craft was able to dispatch the sabre with little issue. During this engagement a outcast battlecruiser name 'Battlecruiser.Roma' appeared and the LPI-Elizabeth responded and engaged the craft.

The LNS-Bounty was also drawn off to assist. Unfortunately, I believe the LPI-Elizabeth was heavily damaged and forced to disengage during this engagement. With no friendly craft within scanner range near Manhattan at this point both XA-Cobra and a Nomad craft broadcasting the callsign Ai'nur arrived in the area. As I was outnumbered I was intending to target the nomad craft primarily considering it to be the highest risk. However when 'Cobra' engaged the nomad I decided that it would be better to attempt to take out one of the wild craft. Let it be said that I was well aware that my chances against this number of craft were slim. However, this close to Manhattan I could not consider retreat. Fortunately, when I was about to engage another naval craft Daniel.Smith entered the operational area whom I asked for assistance. They appeared happy to assist. I engaged the wild craft callsign Aisu|AOI with Daniel Smith following me into engagement soon after. The wild craft Sekei-6 also engaged at this point.

Unfortunately due to damage my craft had already sustained I didn't survive long. However, I hope that this brief engagement provided enough time for re-inforcements to approach the area.
