Well I stopped flying my Indi Outcasts character around Liberty pretty much because of Liberty Cap ships. (There you are flying 10 k from the nearest trade lane in Texas in your Sabre and theres a Navy tagged VHF on scanners. The two of you engage and are having a nice sporting battle when suddenly theres a Liberty Battleship cruising up to you and boom! I think the quote was and down he goes. I find that I dont have a good time in that situation so the Sabre is back in Alpha)

So now Im just a trader and I never have to worry about cap ships anymore.

So theres my solution to cap ships. I just avoid interacting with them for the most part.
