Why release an event in the first place if it's not canon?

In light of the above, we are deleting the mod because none of it is Microsoft Freelancer canon.

Events can be events for fun's sake, pvp or roleplay fun, and shouldn't be limited by the implications or repercussions. Also in hindsight, this would've made a great event to lead into the Kusari vs Gallia conflict, no?
