Guten abend. You will find my report about our exploratory mission into system Bering.

Bering Intelligence Report

During this mission I was accompanied by Agent CLASSIFIED. We took the decision to take the jumphole from system Hamburg to stay as discreet as possible. As soon as we arrived in Bering, a station was to be seen, even if it was too far away for the radar. We moved there to investigate, and it turned out to be a Unioner Station. Judging from its architecture, CLASSIFIED and I think this place is where they assemble their ships. It is well protected, by a number of weapon platforms, multiple patrols, and a Cruiser stationned nearby. Since it was diffuclt to maneuver around the station, we moved to another location, where what appeared to be a newly created station, Rothaar Huette. The docking rights are restricted, so we could not dock to see what was going on in there, nor know to whom it belonged. Nearby was stationned the Liberty Battlegroup Concord, in sector F5 - in what is considered Rheinland territory. We experienced multiple ion storms, this day, but we managed to continue the mission. We then moved to Freeport-2 location. Well, what's left of it anyway. The station is now just wrecks, only Bristol Depot and a Freelancer Satellite survived the battle that occurred here. Bristol Depot is most likely going to replace Freeport 2 as a central neutral hub of Bering. Its location is of strategic importance, both for Liberty and Rheinland, but also for the criminals plaguing the system. Around the Freeport-2 wrecks we saw two stations, one belonging to the Zoners, and the other one to the Junkers. I moved to the Texas Jump Gate, but nothing was to be noticed, except a damaged Liberty Cruiser at the gate, and the Battleship Lehigh. Before we headed back, we decided to follow an unfinished trade lane that started at the Liberty Battlegroup. What we saw there was a complete mess. We first thought of the remains of the Hamburg Jump Gate, but it turned out to be station wrecks. If we are to speculate, I'd say the rumors about the conflict between the Insurgency and the Liberty Navy has reached a new level, to the point where Liberty is cleaning their mess. This is a good thing for us, since the station was located in our half of the system, however the battlegroup remained there, and that fact brings me some concerns. Anyway, those concerns are not facts, and are not needed in this report. We then headed back to Hamburg, and Agent CLASSIFIED and I split up at Carrier Soltau.
