You're still aliens. You can still gain docking rights via diplomacy, so just do that?? That's what we did with the previous AI factions and they can dock on our stations.

The whole idea is that AI can be roleplayed in different ways, that means there will never be a unified OF, especially now that the ID has been nerfed to oblivion - I wouldn't be surprised if all the players just gave up. And tell me, who benefits from this - disrupting the gameplay and effort put in, allowed by mistake or not.

90% of the factions that exist can't dock on Gammu bases so why should they allow the Gammu AI to dock on theirs?

As I asked already, what exactly will be the problem?

Honest question - what harm is done by the no-dock rephack actually? I mean, AIs and especially GAIs are not supposed to be traders anyway as far as I understood, and what I see here and there people mostly claim they play them for roleplay interactions in-game or on forums. How is that affected by the limited docking ability?

Not to mention that as other said, you will have chance to RP out access to some bases with their owning factions. Also, previous state was seriously broken if AIs/GAIs were allowed to dock even on unlawful bases, especially for example Xenos, a faction which shoot even majority of humans, so unknown living robots would get shreded before they would get anywhere near them (not to mention that inRP most of those bases are well hidden).
