Treaty of Carlisle

Military Articles

1. The Bretonian Intelligence Service (further: BIS) will place a garrison of up to 2,000 persons in New Ares on the surface of Yuma for use as a surveillance, reconnaissance and military base.
   
   
2. The Crayterian Intelligence Service will place a garrison of up to 2,000 persons on the surface of Harris for use as a surveillance, reconnaissance and military base.
   
   
3. The BIS and Crayter Intelligence Service (further: CIS) will increase presence within Coronado, Inverness, respectively and hold joint monthly reconnaissance flights into Inverness for the purpose of gathering information.
   
   
4. The BIS and CIS agree to share all available information on the Technocracy of Auxo available until the date of this treaty. Further information must be shared on a joint channel of communications.
   
   
5. The Kingdom of Bretonia and Crayter Republic solemnly engage by the current treaty to perform an invasion of the Inverness system once the available information is deemed satisfactory to both parties. Representatives will meet every month to examine the situation and coordinate the available assets.
   
   
6. The Bretonian Armed Forces (further: BAF) and Crayter Military will hold annual military exercises in the Coronado system and agree to train pilots towards utilizing shared technology of both parties.
   
   
7. The BAF and Crayter Military (further: CRM) agree to send an expeditionary force to the Tau-44 system and act as part of the local Crayter Republic garrison. The Kingdom of Bretonia will provide a total of 2 (two) "Crecy"-class warships and their escorts; Crayter Republic will provide a total of 1 (one) "Argus"-class Battlecruiser and its escorts.
   
   
8. The new fleet will hereby be designated as "1st Combined Arms Flotilla" and remain under a joint BAF - CRM command.
   
   
9. The Crayter Republic agrees to open recruitment offices for the BAF on Yuma and Borneo respectively, as well as any future planets under their control. In return, the Kingdom of Bretonia agrees to open recruitment offices for the CRM on all Bretonian planets.
   
   
10. The Kingdom of Bretonia and Crayter Republic solemnly engage by the current treaty to form a defensive pact and defend each others' holdings. Representatives will meet every year to re-examine the defensive pact and amend its purpose should the need arise.

Economic Articles

1. The Crayter Republic will relax its tariffs towards Bretonian exports. In return, The Kingdom of Bretonia will relax its tariffs towards Crayter exports.
   
   
2. The Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing as well as Borderworld Exports agree to assist in the rebuilding efforts of the Crayter Republic in the Tau-44 system.
   
   
3. The Crayter Republic will provide a fifth of the revenue earned from taxation of trade lanes of Tau-31 to the Kingdom of Bretonia for the next 30 years.
   
   
4. The Crayter Republic will cease all trade with Gallia and uphold its blockade as per the Treaty of Harris when the invasion of the Inverness System is commenced by point 4 of Military Articles.
   
   
5. Bretonian and Crayter companies and corporations agree by the present treaty to allocate an increased number of vessels for use as trade ships between both parties' territory.
   
   
6. The Crayter Republic will provide Sabah Shipyard for use by the Kingdom of Bretonia for maintenance purposes of the military and civilian fleets. In return, the Kingdom of Bretonia will provide Scarborough Shipyard for use by the Crayter Republic as a base for repairs and maintenance of military and civillian vessels.

Military Articles

1. The Empire of Rheinland and the Kingdom of Bretonia acknowledge their interests each on THREE Systems in the Omega Region. The distribution may be discussed later. One initial system each will be listed below.
   
   
2. Hereby, this treaty recognizes the system of Omega-7 as sovereign Rheinland territory. The Kingdom of Bretonia shall not station more than a total of 1 (one) Crecy-class Destroyer and its escorts within the system unless approved by a member of the Rheinland Military Admiralty.
   
   
3. Hereby, this treaty recognizes the system of Omega-3 as sovereign Bretonian territory. The Empire of Rheinland shall not station more than a total of 1 (one) Donau-class Cruiser and its escorts within the system unless approved by a member of the Bretonian Armed Forces Admiralty.
   
   
4. Hereby, this treaty recognizes the system of Omega-48 as neutral territory. The Kingdom of Bretonia and the Empire of Rheinland solemnly engage not to claim the system in their name.
   
   
5. The Bretonian Armed Forces and the Rheinland Military agree to share information on all hostile organizations operating within the Omegas over a shared communication channel.
   
   
6. The Empire of Rheinland agrees to impose a complete and immediate travel & entry ban on vessels bearing Auxo IFF & identification.

Royal Articles

1. The Kingdom of Bretonia and the Empire of Rheinland agree on a marriage between the two Royal families or their upper class nobility. The marriage will be arranged as soon as possible after this treaty is signed.
   
   
2. Harold Sommverille will be the permanent Bretonian Ambassador to the House of Rheinland.
   
   
3. Karl-Heinz Von Thielau will be the permanent Rheinland Ambassador to the House of Bretonia.
   
   

Economic Articles

1. The Rheinland Military Handelsmarine (Merchant Navy) agrees to support the Kingdom of Bretonia with supplies and materials from Rheinland. In return, it will receive permission to enter the Kingdom's systems.
   
   
2. Kruger Minerals agrees to support the Kingdom of Bretonia with supplies and materials from Rheinland. In return, the Kingdom of Bretonia will lower export tax on goods bound for Rheinland by 20%.

Secret Articles

1. The Armed Forces of Bretonia and the Government of the Kingdom of Bretonia, with Her Majesty's grace, pledge their support for the Imperial Family of Rheinland and solemnly engage by the present treaty to support the Imperial Family and allied elements against all Federalist forces or activists. The removal of Federal entities may happen through joint secret operations, not visible to the public.
   
   
2. In return for point 1 of the Secret Articles section, the Empire of Rheinland solemnly engages by the present treaty to increase export tax on goods bound for the Republic of Liberty, recognize the Republic of Liberty as a threat to Rheinland's sovereignty and territorial integrity and hereby acknowledges the Kingdom of Bretonia as an allied nation.
   
   
3. The Kingdom of Bretonia and the Empire of Rheinland agree to not force an open war with the house of Liberty.
   
   
4. The Kingdom of Bretonia and the Empire of Rheinland agree to formalize a mutual defence pact until JULY 830 AS.

Preamble

The ever-changing political and economic landscape of the Tau region has presented all regional powers with the challenge of dealing with one another's clashing interests. Despite past agreements, the situation has remained dire, at best, and there stands the need to finalize a number of agreements aimed at both limiting Gallic expansionism and re-drawing the economical map of the Tau-23 system.

Furthermore, as a consequence of the Republic of Liberty abandoning operations on Planet Harris, in the Tau region, the Kingdom of Bretonia (further: Bretonia), the Empire of Kusari (further: Kusari) and the Crayter Republic (further: Crayter) have recognized the importance of maintaining cordial relations and working as a union on Planet Harris with the joint mission of assisting all the Colonies in dealing with food shortages and increasing the production of food stuffs for the closer future with the backing of Samura Heavy Industries.

The Treaty of Lewes aims to bring about an economical partnership between Bretonia, Kusari and Crayter that will not only provide a substantial source of income for all three participant nations, but also allow for closer ties between Bretonia and Kusari in a present that requires much attention to one's stellar neighbors.

Military Articles

1. Samura Heavy Industries (further: Samura) will relocate up to 3000 personnel belonging to the security division for purposes of maintaining planetary and low orbit security on Planet Harris;
   
   
2. Kishiro Technologies (further: Kishiro) will relocate up to 3000 personnel belonging to the security division for purposes of assisting Samura personnel with planetary and low orbit security on Planet Harris;
   
   
3. Crayter will provide up to 2 (two) squadrons of snubcraft for defence purposes of Planet Harris. For the duration of the deployment(s), the vessels and personnel will be stationed on Battleship Macduff;
   
   
4. The Imperial Guard of Kusari will relocate up to 5000 personnel to Planet Harris for purposes of maintaining planetary control and counter-insurgency missions. The present number may be amended at any point in the future should the need arise.

Economic Articles

1. Samura and Kishiro solemnly engage by the present treaty to assist Bretonia in continuing agricultural operations on Planet Harris;
   
   
2. Planet Harris is henceforth split into two zones of operation; Samura will receive 60% of the total available terrain for agricultural purposes. Yuma Ocean Farming Co-Operation (further: Yuma Farming Co-op) will receive 30%. Each corporation respectively will become the immediate land holders. Bretonia will remain the land owner;
   
   
3. The remaining 10% will be administered directly by the Crown of Bretonia for the maintenance of military installations utilized by the Armed Forces, Imperial Guard and security assets of the participant corporations;
   
   
4. As the land owners, Bretonia will receive 40% of the total revenue generated by the agricultural efforts on the planet. Samura and Kishiro will receive a total of 40% of the profits of which Samura receives 57% and Kishiro 43%. Yuma Farming Co-op will receive 20% of the total profits. This may be changed in the future should participant states not agree with the present amounts;
   
   
5. The supply of all operations planetside will be organized and completed by Border World Exports (further: Bowex) and Gateway Shipping (further: Gateway). Bowex and Gateway retain the freedom to choose the origin and producer of all goods required for the operations planetside, with the exception of fertilizers and agricultural equipment. Samura will provide Bowex and Gateway with fertilizers required for planetside operations for 55% of the standard market price. Kishiro will provide Bowex and Gateway with high-tech agricultural equipment required for planetside operations for 65% of the standard market price. Both discount regulations stay in effect for a duration of seven (7) years.
   
   
6. The Crayter Republic will dedicate a total of 30% of the Integral System Engineering commerce fleet towards purposes of maintaining trade of food stuffs from Planet Harris to the Republic of Liberty and Independent Worlds.

Secret Articles

1. By signing the present agreement, all participant nations solemnly engage to recognize any attack against Planet Harris as a direct attack on all Bretonia, Kusari and Crayter.
   
   
2. The Imperial Guard of Kusari and the Kusari Office of Intelligence will receive permission to operate within the Tau-31 system for purposes of security and safeguarding Kusari space. In return, Bretonia and Kusari will organize a joint channel of communication to oversee Gallic operations within the Tau-23 system.
