Rising up, making demands and simply flattening everything that comes your way doesn't have a touch of RP for me, even if you write great stories as an invention for groups. The fact that the RP does not make sense to you does not necessarily mean it does not make sense to others. Players on Disco, however, rarely RP "hard" politics so opposing armed to the teeth corsairs as a bunch of junkers because "liberte, egalite, fraternite" and "we won't bend the knee out of principle" is a norm here, so I do understand your decision. Yet, you still have to reap the RP consequences.
