Today while on patrol in Coronado, deep scanners picked up 2 ships flying in convoy, Smugglers Dream and Argo, which naturally raised suspicion. I made a loop of the system, checking likely points to intercept the vessels and located them outside Barrier Gate Station A. A quick scan revealed Smugglers Dream's hold was empty but Argo's was not. It had Black Market Munitions.
I made the citizen aware of his illegal act and imposed a fine of 2 million credits and ordered the cargo dropped for immediate destruction. The pilot of Argo willingly complied and was amicable in the exchange, unlike his compatriot. The pilot of Smugglers Dream persisted in belligerantly declaring his ship name was of no issue when I recommend he change it soon to avoid constant hassle by local military and police forces. In the end, I left the convoy to their plans after the exchange was over and continued my patrol.
