I am quite sure my name is Garry Hopkins, and I am almost sure I've been hit with a wooden plank more times than I can count, reason why I don't remember much my childhood. I'm sure it wasn't anything special.

What I do remember is the time after I woke up behind a bar with a bottle dripping alcohol next to my nose and a wooden plank on top of my belly. I felt this urge to become a successful surgeon the moment I woke up, even though I am quite sure I had no prior training. I spent about 4 years on the streets earning my coin by passing letters here and there until I passed by a bunch of good people telling me I can make so much more money for my interests if I helped them out with a quick hit on some "corrupted officers". It turns out they weren't cops. And it turns out I was a pawn. From there on I spent about another three to four years behind bars for armed robbery. I was released sooner because I had some issues. People say I yell a lot. That and...I was nice.

Just after being released, I did remember something about a money bag hidden in a dumpster, so I went at the exact place the memories told me about and found a few diplomas stating that I am a doctor or something. My goal was fullfilled, but when I got myself hired at a hospital, I had just realized that I suck at cutting people open, stitch them up or replace organs, then wake them up and say "You'll be fine!". I ended up murdering some millionaire by slapping his open heart to check if it was still beating. I was fired, then bashed by the police for murder. I stood 2 months in jail - again - then got released because they had no evidence on me. I mean, all I did was to slap a heart with the might of Zeus, nothing wrong about that, technically.

And that brings me to the current me. I got enough cash to buy myself a shuttle. Nothing fancy, really. First thing I did was shoot some police officers that spilled my drink a couple days ago. I see nothing wrong about that, but apparently the Liberty Law deems that illegal. And that brought me to the Rogues. I've tried everything. EVERYTHING, to earn cash the legal way. Sometimes laws are just too complicated. Money isn't, let alone that I won't have to fly alone.
