Guten Tag, herr Lawrence.

Certainly those are some surprising news, given the times that we live in. You wouldn't expect an admiral handling such stuff himself, instead relying on his lesser-in-rank personnel, but here I am, as I preffer to take matters into my own hands personally. Sitting on your ass all day at a desk gets boring at a certain point, not the kind of thing I am afterwards. This also makes work easier for the both of us, wouldn't you concur?

Upon a closer inspection of the list you attached, I may have taken an interest into your business. As of right now the situation isn't exactly great, and the arms race is one of the most important aspects of any kind of war.

Before we proceed on, I'd like to hear your offers on experimental capital ship weaponry, and other 'extraordinary equipment', and if at first you are willing to aid us with a test of said products. As I mentioned earlier, given our situation, taking risks can end up badly, and thus we'd first like a test, under my personal supervision, and then we shall decide what will come next regarding this matter.
